The company recently launched its Semantic API and is expanding its international operations and growing its customer base.
The VP of Sales - US, reports to and works closely with the CEO. This person will be tasked with building and leading Twiggle’s sales organization in the US, developing and structuring a consultative enterprise sales process, and hitting aggressive sales targets.
This role is suited for a sharp, positive and highly driven doer with the ability to drive business growth, and understand the human material, and business dynamics of a fast-paced, growing startup.
This position is ideal for someone who is exceptionally capable, smart, and energetic, who wants to roll up their sleeves and work hard, commit to ambitious goals, and have a crucial role in a thriving start-up in an emerging field.
Managing Twiggle’s sales activities in the US.
Building the company’s US-based sales organization from scratch.
Defining, structuring and monitoring the company’s go-to-market strategy and sales process, including milestones, metrics, and control mechanisms.
Meeting aggressive sales and revenue targets.
Managing the sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
Maintaining close contact with the company’s product and marketing organization.
B.A. or B.Sc. from a leading academic institution, M.B.A. preferred.
Senior leadership experience in the sales organization of a start-up with a SaaS B2B product.
Experience recruiting and managing a sales team.
Successful track record in meeting targets as well as leading high six figure and seven figure deals.
Comfortable and confident working in a remote environment – self-disciplined, accountable and reliable.
Ability to work within a direct and plain-speaking startup environment.
Has the determination to solve problems, strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours, resourcefulness and ability to improvise when needed.
Ability to think, react and adapt well in a high-energy, fast-paced agile environment
A proactive self-starter, capable of getting things done and working independently when needed.
Experience in e-commerce and search is a significant advantage.
