The Director of Business Development and Operations reports to and works closely with the CEO to effectively manage the board of directors, investor relations, and other strategic projects and business initiatives. She/He is also continually engaged with sales, business development initiatives, and partnerships.

As a trusted advisor to the CEO, the role requires exceptional communication skills matched with demonstrated integrity, maturity, self-motivation, analytical skills, and emotional intelligence, and excellent business sensitivities.
Areas of responsibility:
Lead and manage internal and external projects directed by the CEO
Lead business exploration, development and expansion initiatives including new revenue streams, product partnerships, and portfolio expansion
Actively partake in customer related initiatives and sales, focusing on improving processes and their yield
Manages communications with strategic partners of the company, as well as investors & board members
Devise presentations, analysis, and research in support of sales, business development, and partnership activities
Relevant degree from a top university (MBA from a leading university preferred)
Consulting and operational experience, at a leading management consulting firm and at a successful start up or multinational company
Background in business development including contracting experience at a leading internet or retail company
Technical knowledge and track record of working on complex technical businesses such as infrastructure services, cloud, or enterprise software
Professional distinction in thought leadership and innovation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with track record of driving complex cross-functional projects/ initiatives
Excellent modeling and presentation skills
Experience handling complicated business agreements independently
Experience dealing with all levels of management
Ability to think, react and adapt well in a high-energy, fast-paced agile environment
Proactive self-starter, with the ability to get things done and work independently when needed
Must have English as a mother tongue (or at mother tongue level)
Must have International experience, preferably having lived and worked in the US, UK, or EU
